Princess of Wales, born in Norfolk, england, July 1 ,1961. Her parents were the Viscount and Viscountess Althorp. Before her marriage to Prince Charles, she was a kindergarten teacher. She married the Prince of Wales at St. Pauls cathedral July 29,1981. Charles and Diana had two sons, William and Harry. They were divorced in 1996. Diana was not only known for fashion, but also for her work at many charities. She did work on behalf of the AIDS foundation and on the ban of use and manufacturing of land mines.

She died Aug 31, 1997, in Paris, France because of injuries from a car accident, along with her companion Dodi El Fayed. The controversial accident also killed the driver of her car and seriously injured her bodyguard. She was buried at the family estate at Althorp.
